1. How to get approved by Google
The most important aspect of the site is content. And it has to be legal content too that is not in violation of TOS such as porn, warez, beer, drugs etc. It is advised to have at least 5 static pages or 5 post if your site is a blog. You can’t have under construction sign anywhere, which means that your site is not yet finished. The website you use to apply must be done properly. There are occurrences whereby Google would reject you on the ground that your account was related to a previously banned account. If that is the case, someone else may have use your address (your brothers/sisters, roommates), have used your IP (dynamic IP) or the domain you buy may have been used by spammers and got banned. You need to find out what is wrong and send a nice and polite email to Google Contact and explain your problems. It may take a while but Google does have human reviewer that would go and have a look case by case. One way to get your site approved is by following this advice.
2. Once I get approved can I put Adsense code on other website?
Yes you can. In fact if you try to sign up again for your other website, you will be rejected. There are case by case basis where Google approves dual account. This usually reserved for companies and is manually reviewed by Google.
3. I have put Adsense on my website but all I see is donation relief ads and I know that I won’t get money when my visitors click on that ads.
- Google bots may not crawl your website yet. If you don’t have any thing that may prevent Google bots to crawl your site such as password protected or members only page, just be patient as it may take sometime. There are millions of new pages created everyday, your time will come.
- Your website is probably using language other than English and ads for that language are not available.
- The keyword your website is optimized for does not have ads available for it.
- Your website may not have sufficient content for Google to decide what your website is all about so that it can serve relevant ads.
- You have not entered your PIN number after its been received for 4 months
4. Is it OK for me to do a website specifically for Adsense
Depends, if you do your site properly, give it unique content, update it from time to time and expect the Adsense to give you a nice income then yes its ok. But if you just put a slapped bang quick website with free PLR and / or non unique content then you will be wasting your time. While Google may not ban you, your website will never get good index therefore small chance of getting organic traffic. The term for this is MFA (made for adsense). However, if you drive traffic to your MFA site through Adword then you will be banned and the term for this is Arbitrage.
5. I have put my Adsense up but I’m getting no money from it.
First, to make money from Adsense you need substantial traffic. You need to get a lot of visitors to your site through social networking, directory submission, blog commenting, forum signature etc.
If you do have a substantial traffic but nobody click on your ads, then you need to look at your ads placement, color scheme and ads relevancy. You are not allowed to ask visitors to click on your ads but you can entice them doing so by serving a nice, non obnoxious and relevant ads.
6. Can I put other ads on the same page as Adsense?
Yes you can, as long as you can make it different enough so it doesn’t confuse your visitors. For similar ads like Yahoo’s YPN, you can have it rotate so your page will either have Google Adsense or Yahoo YPN. You can’t have them both at the same time. This falls on to you as a webmaster to create the distinction.
7. Can I have image next to my Adsense?
Yes you can as long as you don’t line the image in a way that it will give an impression that the image represent the ads and also will not mislead the users thinking that he click on the image by clicking the ads. The image must not bee seen as directly associated with the ads. This does not just apply to image, it also applies to flash, JavaScript games etc.
8. Can I have my friend Adsense on my website as well as mine?
Yes, every publisher is responsible for his own action. More on this here.
9. Will I get terminated if my websites don’t have sufficient traffic or clicks?
Goggle Terms and Condition Says
Google reserves the right to terminate without notice any account that has not generated a sufficient number of valid clicks on Ads or Referral Buttons or valid impressions of Ads (in each case as measured by Google) for a period of two (2) months or more.
However, this has never been implemented before to my knowledge. Do not click your own ads just because no one is clicking your ads.
On a side notes, a lot of site gets a better page rank if there is no Adsense on it. So if you only have small numbers of visitors, you me better off putting off having Adsense for the time being.
10. How do I get paid?
When the money in your account reaches USD 10 you will receive a PIN in a first class mail within 3-5 days to verify your contact information. Once the PIN is sent you can expect 2 to 3 weeks to receive it depending on your location and postal services in your country. Once you do that, you can choose on how you would prefer to be paid.
- Electronics Funds Transfer (EFT) which is directly deposits your Adsense earnings into your bank account, in your local currency, to greatly speed up and simplify the payment process. EFT is available to publishers with payment addresses. EFT is available in selected countries.

- Secure Delivery. For countries not included in both of the above, Your payment will be sent to you quickly and safely bya courier service (DHL) for delivery - you can expect to receive your check within 5-10 business days after it’s been sent. Make sure that DHL covers your area, otherwise, charges associated with recipient problem will be deducted from your Adsense earnings.
