Once you have been approved by Google into the Adsense program you really need to take a step back and see your website from your visitors’ point of view. By doing that you will be able to see which place is best for putting your Adsense ads. The place I’m talking about is where your ads is visible and catch visitors eyes without them having to scroll down or even right (eww).
Innocent Mistakes Can Get You Banned
Google Adsense and Adword is big multi billion dollars business. It makes sense that Google would do its best to make sure that everything is legitimate and no foul play occur within its network of advertisers and publishers. That’s the fact that lost on some webmasters. Google has the capability and resources to do its best research on how to prevent those nasty activities. If someone on a basement somewhere thinks of a best way to game Google, you can be sure that Google will find that out sooner later than later.
How Adsense Works
You know that by earning some few dollars per click from displaying Adsense ads on your site, good money can be made from this source of revenue. But do you know how it works? Well, you should because you don’t want to be doing something unintentionally only to receive those dreaded letter from Google saying that your account has been banned. Once you get to that point there is not much you can do other than try to email them explaining your mistake which is doesn’t always work or look for other ads alternative.
Apply For Google Adsense Program and Approved
There is plenty of information available on the net about how to apply for Google Adsense program. Some of them are simple but some of them are a bit tough act to follow. It’s easier for you to just look at Google TOS but then again who went to law school or gifted with the ability to decipher all those lawyer talks on the fly.
You can live anywhere, from any races, genders, size and whatever, you do have to be 18 years or older to be accepted. This may have something to do with the legal age requirement. There are stories about webmasters getting their google adsense account using their parent’s credentials. This just means that it’s their parents account even though they ran it for them.
Gaming Click Fraud
Many new webmasters think that because the adsense code is on their site and that internet is a very large area, they can fool google or in other word game google or any other advertiser for that matter. They couldn’t be more wrong. Many people have tried and the large majority of them have failed. The small portion who’s still survived are either pure luck or really careful to a point where it doesn’t make a worthwhile profit anymore.
